
In Karachi, Nawabzada Jameel Akbar Bugti, a prominent tribal and social figure from Balochistan and son of Akbar Khan Bugti, has passed away.
According to family sources, he died due to cardiac arrest.
Nawabzada Jameel Akbar Bugti was known as a serious, dignified and outspoken personality. He was regarded as one of the moderate and pragmatic voices on issues concerning the Baloch people and was known for expressing his views with composure.
Following the martyrdom of Akbar Khan Bugti in 2006, he remained active for some time in politics and media, where he spoke openly on key issues such as human rights, resource distribution and political marginalization in Balochistan.
He later stepped back from active politics but continued to highlight issues related to Balochistan through media and social platforms from time to time.
His death is being described as the loss of a moderate and thoughtful voice for Balochistan.
