QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: The protest camp set up by Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) against enforced disappearances in Balochistan continued for the 6,384th day outside the Quetta Press Club.

Abdul Rauf, the father of Israrullah, who disappeared forcibly, visited the camp and said his son was taken into custody by security forces on July 26 from Kali Kamalo in Sariab, Quetta and moved to an unknown location.

He said that, on the orders of a commission, the concerned police station and senior administration had recorded statements of eyewitnesses in his son’s case. However, Israrullah has not been recovered, and no information about him has been provided, leaving the family in severe mental distress.

Abdul Rauf appealed to authorities to ensure his son’s safe recovery and, if he faces any charge, to present him before a court and complete the legal requirements.

VBMP Chairman Nasrullah Baloch demanded the recovery of Israrullah and all other disappeared persons.
