In Balochistan’s Kech district, Pakistani security forces came under attack in two separate IED incidents in the Gorkop and Zamuran areas.
According to sources, vehicles carrying forces were targeted and there are reports of casualties. Authorities have not yet released official details regarding the attacks.
Baloch independence armed groups are known to be active in these areas and have previously carried out attacks on Pakistani forces. However, no group has claimed responsibility for these latest incidents.
These attacks are part of a recent surge in violence in the province. In the past 24 hours alone, five explosions have been reported across Balochistan. Yesterday, two bomb blasts targeted Pakistani forces and a train in the Dasht area of Mastung at different times.
