A woman was injured in a hand grenade attack on a house in Turbat, located in Kech district of Balochistan.
According to sources, late last night unidentified armed men threw a grenade at the house of a man named Syed Muhammad in the Srikkan. The grenade exploded with a loud blast, injuring a woman inside the house. She was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Local sources claimed that the attackers were allegedly linked to a state-backed armed group known as the “Death Squad.”
It is worth mentioning that similar attacks on houses have previously taken place in Turbat and surrounding areas, injuring several people, including women and children.
