In Osta Muhammad, a grenade attack on a police van left six people injured, including four policemen.
According to police, unidentified assailants riding a motorcycle targeted a police mobile near the Railway Crossing in the City Police Station limits late last night. The explosion injured four police personnel and two passersby.
The injured were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital. Police said those wounded include Abdul Nabi, Qadir Bakhsh, Abdullah, and Bahram.
Following the attack, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. No group has so far claimed responsibility for the incident.
