
In Kalat, two people were killed and one injured after unidentified armed men opened fire in the Neemargh area.
According to sources, Abdul Rahim Sasoli was present at his tube well when unknown assailants launched an attack, opening fire on him.
As a result, Sasoli and his guard, Zafarullah son of Saadullah, a resident of Gidar Surab, were killed on the spot.
Another guard, Ikram son of Noor Mohammad, a resident of Neemargh, was seriously injured. He was initially shifted to Civil Hospital Kalat for first aid and later referred to Quetta due to his critical condition.
The attackers managed to flee the scene following the incident. Police reached the area and have launched an investigation.
Some local sources and activists said that Abdul Rahim Sasoli had links with Pakistani security forces and was involved in operations targeting civilians and political activists.
