Mastung: Attack on Pakistani Forces, Assailants Capture One Soldier

Mastung: Armed men attacked Pakistani forces in Mastung district of Balochistan, triggering clashes that continued for several hours. According to local sources, one Frontier Corps (FC) soldier was captured by the attackers.

The incident occurred in the Zahri Gat area of Dasht, Umer Dor, when the Pakistani forces were attempting to advance on foot. During the operation, intense crossfire erupted from both sides and continued for more than two hours. Heavy gunfire and explosions were heard throughout the area during the clashes.

Regional sources reported that the forces also suffered casualties in the attack; however, details have not yet been confirmed.

Eyewitnesses said that helicopters were seen flying over the area during the clashes. Authorities have not issued any official statement regarding the incident so far.
