Mastung: Former Nazim Ghulam Farooq Shahwani has expressed serious concern over the continued low gas pressure in Killi Thal Darray city and surrounding areas, saying that the issue has intensified public hardships during the severe winter.
In his statement, Shahwani said that Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has significantly reduced gas pressure in the area, causing serious difficulties for residents. Due to the extreme cold and low gas pressure, children, the elderly and senior citizens are rapidly falling victim to various illnesses, while household consumers are facing severe problems in managing daily domestic chores.
He said that the public’s only source of relief during winter is Sui gas, but despite paying monthly gas and electricity bills, people are being deprived of this basic facility in the harshest cold. The reduced gas pressure in Killi Thal Darray Khan and Karez Noth city areas has become a major source of suffering for the public.
Ghulam Farooq Shahwani urged the Sui Southern Gas Company to show mercy on the people especially innocent children and elderly citizens and immediately end gas load-shedding and increase gas pressure so that residents can stay safe from the cold wave and protect themselves from various diseases.
