Quetta: The Spokesperson of the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), Major Gwhram Baloch, said in a statement issued to the media that BLF fighters carried out 12 operations in different areas of Balochistan, killing 12 military personnel and injuring several others. Details of the attacks are as follows:

On the night of December 1 at around midnight, BLF fighters laid siege to a police check post in the Dola Nadi area of Barkhan and took the personnel hostage. During this time, military personnel riding two vehicles and seven motorcycles arrived from a nearby Pakistani military camp in an attempt to surround the fighters, leading to a clash. The fighters attacked one military vehicle and two motorcycle-riding soldiers at close range, killing four Frontier Corps (FC) personnel and injuring several others. The police personnel were not harmed.

On the evening of December 1, in the Cherri Malar area of Awaran at a place called Damb, a Pakistani military security guard deployed at an occupied camp was killed in a sniper attack. Shortly afterward, another unit of fighters took positions behind the camp and fired RPG shells into it, causing further casualties and material damage.

In another operation on the night of December 1, BLF fighters set up a four-hour roadblock and snap checking on the CPEC main highway in the Rakhshan area. During the search, no military personnel, government vehicles, or informers were found.

At around 5:00 p.m. on December 1, BLF fighters attacked a Pakistani military camp in the Gali area of Buleda with heavy weapons. Several rounds from a grenade launcher were fired into the camp, resulting in casualties and material losses.

At around 2:00 p.m. on December 1, a BLF sniper team killed a soldier stationed at a security post of a military camp in Pulabad, Tump. Afterward, the fighters targeted the camp and its main gate with RPGs and other heavy weapons, damaging surveillance cameras and causing further losses.

On December 2 at 9:30 a.m., fighters ambushed a military convoy consisting of two vehicles and two motorcycles between Dehat and MashaAllah Hotel on the outskirts of Turbat. Three soldiers traveling in one vehicle were killed and two were wounded, and the vehicle was badly damaged. After the attack, forces fired mortar shells from a nearby camp, but the fighters managed to withdraw safely.

On December 5, BLF fighters simultaneously attacked police check posts at three different locations in Kachhi and Jhal Magsi, including two in Kachhi district and one in Jhal Magsi. The first attack took place in the Konaro area of Kachhi and the second at police check posts in Gajan. However, police personnel had fled the stations a few minutes earlier.

In the third attack, fighters laid siege to a police station in the Kotro area of Jhal Magsi. The police inside the station opened fire on the fighters. In accordance with organizational policy, the fighters avoided harming the police personnel. Through the media, the BLF warned the police personnel at the station to refrain from resisting, otherwise they would be responsible for any loss of life.

The Balochistan Liberation Front has claimed responsibility for the 12 operations, including the killing of 12 military personnel, the blockade on the CPEC road in Rakhshan, and the attacks on police stations in Kachhi and Jhal Magsi. The group reiterated its resolve to continue attacks on what it described as occupying Pakistani forces until the achievement of what it calls the freedom of Balochistan.
