Disappeared Mahjabeen’s Brother Younas Released After Four Months in Custody

Quetta: Younas, the brother of forcibly disappeared Baloch woman Mahjabeen Baloch, has been released after four months in disappearance.

According to Younas’s family, the past four months had been extremely difficult and full of anguish. They said that while his return has brought some relief, their deepest concern remains Mahjabeen’s continued disappearance.

The family urged the authorities to ensure Mahjabeen’s immediate and safe release, so that their family can finally find peace.

Human rights organizations have welcomed Younas’s recovery, calling it a positive step and renewed their demand for the safe recovery of all forcibly disappeared persons in Balochistan.
