The mutilated body of Shah Jan, a young man who was forcibly disappeared from Panjgoor, Balochistan, has been recovered. Shah Jan was abducted on July 29, 2025—just ten days after his wedding, allegedly by members of a death squad formed by the Pakistani military.
According to sources, he was transferred to the FC (Frontier Corps) camp in Panjgoor after being abducted. However, his family was never informed of his whereabouts and today his body was found bearing signs of severe torture.
It is worth noting that in recent days, the body of another young man from Paroom, Panjgoor, was also recovered with visible marks of torture. He, too, was reportedly abducted and killed by State-Backed death squad operatives.
