Three People Forcibly Disappeared by Pakistani Forces from Kech, One Youth Killed in Kharan

A young man was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Kharan, while three people were allegedly taken into custody and disappeared in Kech, Balochistan.

According to sources, on Monday, August 4, unknown assailants opened fire in Kharan, killing a young man identified as Nazar Muhammad, son of Salam Jan, a resident of Siapad.

Local reports say targeted killings have increased in Kharan in recent days. In earlier incidents, Khuda Nazar Mulazai was shot near Ideal School and another resident, Mujahid Siapad, was also killed.

In a separate incident, three people were allegedly detained by Pakistani forces in Kech and have not been seen since.

The missing persons have been identified as Dr. Dad Shah, son of Wahid Bakhsh from Sangabad. Aman Baloch, son of Tahir Baloch from Sangani Sar, Turbat and Nek Sal Asumi.

Sources said Dad Shah was detained from Turbat city on Monday, while Nek Sal Asumi was taken from Hoshap after being called to bring clothes and attend a court appearance for his missing nephew, Awaz Hassann, who had earlier been picked up from Arz Muhammad Bazaar.

Meanwhile, Aman Baloch was detained near TMC Hospital in Turbat and moved to an undisclosed location. His elder brother, Adnan Tahir, a police officer, had also been abducted in the past and released after nearly two months in custody.
