BNM Stages Protest Outside Pakistani Embassy Marking One Year Since Enforced Disappearance of Ustad Wahid Kambar

The Hague: The Baloch National Movement (BNM) organized a protest outside the Pakistani Embassy in The Hague to mark one year since the enforced disappearance of Ustad Wahid Kambar Baloch. The demonstration aimed to raise international awareness about the ongoing human rights situation in Balochistan and to condemn what the organizers described as systemic repression and ethnic persecution.

The protest was attended by members of BNM and human rights activists. Participants carried banners and placards with slogans demanding an end to enforced disappearances and calling on international bodies to take notice of human rights violations in Balochistan.

In their speeches, BNM Netherlands President Muheem Abdul Rahim, Dr. Latif Baloch, and Qadeer Sagar stated that the abduction of Wahid Kambar is part of a broader state policy in Balochistan, under which political activists, students, journalists and civilians are forcibly disappeared. The speakers urged the United Nations, the European Union, and global human rights organizations to pressure Pakistan to halt enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings.

They emphasized that the situation in Balochistan is not merely a regional conflict but a global human rights crisis that can no longer be ignored. The speakers also called on international media outlets to report on the realities on the ground in Balochistan.
