Islamabad: NDM Delegation Meets Families of Missing Baloch, Supports Their Demands for Release and Recovery

A delegation from the National Democratic Movement (NDM), led by Chairman Mohsin Dahwar, participated in a protest by families of Baloch missing individuals in Islamabad. The sit-in was organized by the Baloch Yekjehti Commitee (BYC) demanding the release of detained leaders and the recovery of other forcibly disappeared Baloch missing persons.

The NDM delegation included members of the central organizing committee Tariq Wazir and Ismail Mehsud, member of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa organizing committee Gulbadin Mehsud, NDM Islamabad Chairman Mansoor Mehsud, General Secretary Ibrahim Wazir, Information Secretary Dr. Roshan Yousafzai, and Rahim Dahwar.

Expressing solidarity with the protestors, Mohsin Dahwar stated that enforced disappearances constitute a blatant violation of human rights and called on the state to present all missing persons before the courts. He expressed concern over the arrests of Dr. Mahrang Baloch and other BYC activists, as well as ongoing cases against them, warning that such actions pose serious threats to democratic freedoms.

The NDM delegation fully supported the demands of the protestors, urging the immediate recovery of all forcibly disappeared persons and an end to harassment of peaceful demonstrators.
