Gwadar: The Baloch Women Forum (BWF) today carried out an awareness campaign across several coastal areas of Gwadar, including Pishukan, Ganz, Paniwan, Bandari and Jiwani. As part of the campaign, pamphlets were distributed to raise public awareness and peacefully convey the forum’s political stance.
According to the forum, individuals affiliated with state institutions attempted to interfere and prevent the distribution of pamphlets, issuing warnings to stop the activity. The BWF stated that such actions by the state are not new and are aimed solely at suppressing peaceful initiatives.
In its statement, the forum emphasized, “We are peaceful and conduct our activities through non-violent means. Such warnings will not deter us from pursuing our political engagement.”
The forum also appealed to the public to extend greater support in light of the current critical situation.
