Attack on Pakistani Forces in Kalat and Zamuran, Casualties Reported

Kalat/Zamuran: Armed clashes and attacks targeting Pakistani security forces were reported on Tuesday in two separate regions of Balochistan, resulting in unconfirmed reports of multiple casualties and injuries among military personnel.

According to local sources, a convoy of Pakistani military forces came under heavy fire in the Kohak area of Kalat during the evening hours. Eyewitnesses said the attackers, believed to be Baloch insurgents, ambushed the convoy from multiple directions using heavy weaponry, leading to significant losses.

While there are reports of fatalities and injuries, no official statement has been released by Pakistani authorities confirming the extent of the damage or casualties.

Following the initial attack, reinforcements dispatched to the area were also reportedly targeted, leading to another exchange of fire between the assailants and military personnel.

In a separate incident in Zamuran, an improvised explosive device (IED) targeted security forces, causing further casualties.

As of now, no group has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
