A series of attacks and military operations were reported across several districts of Balochistan, highlighting a sharp rise in unrest in the Occupied Balochistan.
In Mastung, an improvised explosive device (IED) targeted Pakistani security personnel during a routine foot patrol in the Ab Gul area. Initial reports suggest multiple casualties.
In a separate incident in Chaghi, armed assailants set up a road blockade in the Koro Patak near Dalbandin. During the blockade, they reportedly conducted snap checks on passing vehicles and set an LPG transport truck on fire. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Simultaneously, military operations have intensified in various parts of the province. In the Tirtej area of Awaran, a large number of Pakistani troops have moved into the mountainous regions. This follows an earlier attack on security forces in the area, which reportedly prompted increased military activity.
Ground and aerial operations are also ongoing in the Zamuran area of Kech, where a significant number of troops have been observed moving through the terrain. In Kalat, following a deadly attack on security forces earlier this week, military activity has surged, with helicopters conducting aerial surveillance.
Despite the scale of the operations, there have been no confirmed reports of casualties or arrests so far.
Meanwhile, separate attacks were reported in Kech Mirabad and Nasirabad. Armed individuals allegedly targeted security outposts, surveillance cameras, and a nearby mobile tower. In Mirabad, a checkpoint and its installed monitoring equipment were damaged in an afternoon assault. A similar attack occurred in Nasirabad, where surveillance infrastructure at another checkpoint was reportedly destroyed.
As with the other incidents, no militant group has come forward to claim responsibility.
