Mastung, Balochistan A mentally unstable-looking man was shot dead by unidentified assailants near the Balochistan Hotel in the Khadkocha area of Mastung, local sources reported.
This marks the second such incident at the same location in recent days. In both cases, unknown individuals opened fire, resulting in the deaths of men described as mentally unstable. No group has claimed responsibility for either killing so far.
According to sources, the identity of the deceased has not yet been confirmed. However, there is speculation that the man was non-local and may have been planted by Pakistani forces to conduct surveillance under the guise of being mentally unwell.
Baloch nationalist groups have previously claimed that they have detained several similar individuals in the past, who later confessed to involvement in espionage activities on behalf of state forces.
