Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) spokesperson Major Gahram Baloch issued a statement to the media claiming responsibility for five separate operations carried out at four different locations, resulting in the killing of nine Pakistani security personnel and injuries to several others.
According to the statement:
- On July 10, at 7 PM, BLF fighters attacked and set fire to an under-construction military outpost in Malikabad, Tump. When Pakistani forces attempted to advance toward the fighters, a counter-ambush resulted in the killing of two personnel, forcing the troops to retreat.
- On July 11, simultaneous attacks were carried out in two areas of Zamuran. The first involved heavy weapons used against a checkpost in Pagnzan around 12 PM. The second, conducted by a sniper team in Arosein Dan, reportedly killed one soldier.
- On July 12, at approximately 8 PM, a Frontier Corps (FC) camp in the Zarin Jungle area of Nushki was targeted. The attack involved snipers and thermal weaponry from one BLF unit, while a second team launched rockets and used automatic weapons. This resulted in three deaths and two injuries among FC personnel.
- A reinforcement convoy arriving at the scene was also ambushed. The ambush killed three more personnel and injured four others. According to the statement, the Pakistani forces were forced to retreat, while the BLF fighters safely returned to their positions.
- Later that same night, around 9 PM, BLF militants launched multiple rockets at the main military base in Mashkay and engaged in a 20-minute firefight using heavy weaponry, reportedly causing significant personnel and material losses.
In closing, the spokesperson reiterated that the BLF accepts full responsibility for the attacks and reaffirmed its commitment to intensifying operations against Pakistani occupying forces until the liberation of Balochistan is achieved.
