Islamabad: Baloch Student Forcibly Disappeared by Pakistani Forces

Islamabad: A Baloch student was reportedly subjected to enforced disappearance by Pakistani forces in the federal capital, Islamabad.

According to sources, the missing youth has been identified as Saeed s/o Ubaidullah, a fifth-semester student of BS Defense and Strategic Studies (DSS) at Quaid-i-Azam University, and a resident of Panjgur, Balochistan. He was allegedly abducted by personnel in plain clothes at the Islamabad Toll Plaza and has not been seen since.

The Baloch Students Council Islamabad confirmed Saeed’s disappearance, describing it as part of a disturbing pattern of enforced disappearances targeting Baloch students in Islamabad.

The Council issued an appeal to students, human rights activists, organizations and concerned citizens to raise their voices for Saeed’s immediate and safe recovery.
