
The series of attacks on security forces continues in various parts of Balochistan. Severe attacks have been carried out on Pakistani forces in Kharan and Awaran.
According to sources, at around 2 PM today, armed individuals set fire to a Ufone mobile tower in the Nondra Kolanj area of Jhao. After the incident, security forces departed from Kuch Camp, reached the site, inspected the scene, and then returned.
As per details, at around 7 PM, while returning from the area near Dura village, armed assailants ambushed a military convoy, resulting in casualties among the forces.
In another incident, around 8 PM, unidentified gunmen attacked an FC (Frontier Corps) checkpoint on Gwash Road in Kharan city. The attack occurred while six personnel were inspecting vehicles at the city’s exit route. The forces reportedly suffered casualties in this attack as well.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for these attacks. However, the Balochistan Liberation Front had claimed responsibility for an earlier attack on Pakistani forces in Jhao yesterday, in which eight personnel were killed.
