A school teacher, Ghulam Mustafa s/o Jumma Khan, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in the Nasirabad area of Kalat district, Balochistan.
According to police sources, the incident occurred on Monday when armed individuals opened fire on Ghulam Mustafa, killing him on the spot. Law enforcement personnel arrived at the scene shortly after the attack and shifted the body to Civil Hospital Kalat after completing necessary formalities.
Authorities confirmed that the deceased teacher hailed from Khuzdar and belonged to the Shahwani tribe.
The motive behind the shooting remains unknown at this time.
