Two Separate Operations in Balochistan: Two Soldiers Killed in Jhao, MI Agent Executed in Barkhan. Claimed by BLF and BLA

Two Baloch armed groups, the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) and the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), have claimed responsibility for separate incidents targeting Pakistani forces and intelligence collaborators in different areas of Balochistan.

According to BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, on June 30, around 12 PM, a BLF sniper team targeted a specific objective at a Pakistani military camp in the Doleji area of Jhao. One soldier was immediately killed. Following the initial strike, a second BLF unit launched an assault using RPGs and heavy weaponry, resulting in the death of another soldier and injuries to several others. The spokesperson reaffirmed that BLF takes full responsibility for the attack and reiterated its commitment to continue armed resistance until Balochistan achieves independence.

In a separate development, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) spokesperson Jiyand Baloch announced that their fighters had executed an MI (Military Intelligence) agent, Rasool Bakhsh Balochani Khetran, in Barkhan, following a confession and a verdict by the “Baloch National Court.”

The BLA stated that Rasool Bakhsh, who was initially detained by BLA fighters, confessed to working with Pakistani intelligence since 2015. He admitted to multiple incidents of informing on Baloch activists and civilians, leading to enforced disappearances and deaths. His cooperation reportedly included identifying Baloch fighters’ locations, guiding military raids, and participating in operations disguised in army uniform. Based on these alleged crimes, he was sentenced to death and the punishment was carried out by BLA fighters.

Both organizations, BLF and BLA, emphasized that their armed struggle will continue against what they term as the “occupying Pakistani forces” and their collaborators until Balochistan gains full independence.
