Dera Bugti: FC and CTD Conduct Raids in Sui, Three Civilians Forcibly Disappeared

On Monday, Frontier Corps (FC) and the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) carried out a joint operation in various areas of Sui, a sub-division of Dera Bugti district in Balochistan. According to local sources, the forces raided multiple homes, conducted thorough searches, and allegedly looted valuable items during the operation.

At least three individuals were taken into custody and shifted to an unknown location. The forcibly disappeared persons have been identified as Mehran son of Sain Bakhsh Bugti and Gul Gohar son of Sain Bakhsh Bugti, both residents of Darihan Colony, Sui. The third abductee, Mehr Dil son of Muhammad Amin Bugti, is said to be a resident of Phoong Colony, Sui.

According to the affected families, the individuals were detained without any legal warrant or formal charges, and no official information about their whereabouts has been provided so far.

These enforced disappearances have prompted the victims’ families to call upon human rights organizations, the judiciary, and government authorities to ensure the immediate recovery of their loved ones
