
Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) spokesperson Azad Baloch issued a statement to the media, claiming responsibility for an attack on the Quetta-to-Peshawar Jaffar Express train near the Ab-e-Gum area of Mach on June 16.
He stated that BLA fighters targeted the train using a remote-controlled explosive device.
As a result of the attack, two railway employees and two members of the bomb disposal squad were killed, while three others were seriously injured.
According to the spokesperson, the attack was carried out at a location where occupying forces and railway staff were engaged in track clearance operations.
He concluded by stating that such operations by the BLA will continue until the formation of a free and independent Balochistan.
