The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for two separate attacks targeting Pakistani military forces in the Mastung and Kalat regions of Balochistan. According to BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch, the operations involved both remote-controlled IEDs and direct armed assaults, resulting in heavy casualties for the occupying forces.
In the first incident, which occurred last night in the Splinji area of Mastung, BLA fighters ambushed a Pakistani military convoy at Marro Kund while it was attempting to advance into the area. The BLA stated that its fighters opened fire using automatic weapons, killing three soldiers on the spot and injuring several others.
In the second operation, BLA fighters targeted Pakistani bomb disposal squad personnel in the Johan area of Kalat, specifically at Maki, with a remote-controlled IED. The blast killed three more soldiers and left one critically injured, according to the BLA statement.
The Baloch Liberation Army confirmed its responsibility for both attacks and reiterated its commitment to resist the Pakistani military’s presence in Balochistan.
