Attacks in Zamuran and Panjgur, Four Soldiers Killed, Sangat Riaz Alias Aman Martyred. BLA

The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) spokesperson, Jeeyand Baloch, has claimed responsibility for a series of attacks targeting Pakistani forces in Zamuran and Panjgur districts, resulting in the deaths of four military personnel. The BLA also confirmed the martyrdom of one of its fighters, Sangat Riaz alias Aman, during the operations.

According to the statement, BLA fighters carried out five separate attacks on occupying Pakistani forces in the regions:

  • On the morning of June 14, BLA fighters targeted Pakistani foot soldiers in Dashtuk Bamblo, Zamuran, using a remote-controlled IED while they were clearing the route with a bomb disposal team. Two soldiers were killed instantly, and one was seriously injured.
  • In another attack the same day, BLA fighters struck Pakistani soldiers at Zamri, Zamuran, with a remote-controlled IED while they were collecting water from a local supply near their camp. One soldier was killed on the spot.
  • On Friday, June 13, in Sah Deem, BLA fighters destroyed surveillance cameras installed by Pakistani forces near their camp. During the operation, the forces attempted to monitor the fighters using a quadcopter drone, which the BLA claims to have shot down.
  • On the night of the same day, BLA fighters attacked a Pakistani military checkpoint in Qalam Chowk, Panjgur (Chitkan area), with a hand grenade. The explosion killed one soldier and injured at least two others.

The BLA further confirmed that on June 13, Sangat Riaz alias Aman, a dedicated fighter of the BLA, was martyred in Dasht Malai Nagur (Sahiji mountain range) after stepping on a landmine planted by Pakistani forces. He was traveling for organizational duties at the time of the incident.

According to the spokesperson, Sangat Riaz was the son of Qadir Bakhsh and hailed from Dasht Sholi in Kech district. A fearless and committed revolutionary, he had been part of the armed resistance against Pakistan since 2016. He was active across various fronts including Dasht, Coastal Belt, Mand, Tump, and Zamuran, playing critical roles in multiple operations.

The spokesperson noted Sangat Riaz also played a key role in BRAS joint operations. He was on the frontlines during the February 2020 “Operation Asreich” in Darchkor, Dasht, where Baloch fighters temporarily took over a Pakistani military camp. Riaz was injured in that operation after being shot in the leg.

The statement concluded with a vow from the BLA to continue the mission of its fallen fighters and to fulfill the vision for Baloch liberation for which Sangat Riaz gave his life.
