Gwadar: Detained Individual Killed by Pakistani Forces

In the coastal city of Gwadar, Balochistan, Pakistani forces have allegedly killed a man who was already in their custody. The victim has been identified as Salam, son of Eid, a resident of Dasht Kambeel. He was forcibly disappeared two days ago by the Pakistani military and intelligence agencies from his home in the Ghatti Dor area of Gwadar.

According to local sources, today the military handed over Salam’s body to his family. However, troops remain stationed outside the family’s home, pressuring them not to open the coffin and to proceed with an immediate burial.

Salam’s family claims they are under intense pressure to remain silent and to avoid revealing the condition of the body to the public or the media.

The family has appealed to the people of Gwadar to stand in solidarity with them and join in demanding justice for Salam Baloch.
