Sui: Major Gas Pipeline Blown Up in Dera Bugti, Massive Fire Erupts

SUI, DERA BUGTI: A powerful explosion destroyed a 36-inch diameter gas pipeline in the Sui area of Dera Bugti district, Balochistan, late Thursday night. The pipeline, which transports gas to Karachi, was targeted by unknown assailants.

According to Levies sources, the explosion caused flames to shoot several feet into the air, and the blast was heard from a considerable distance.

Following the incident, a large contingent of Levies personnel and security forces arrived at the scene, cordoned off the area, and launched an investigation.

As of now, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
