BLA Claims Attack on Pakistani Forces in Kalat: 3 Pakistani Soldiers Killed, 3 Injured

Kalat, Balochistan – The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for an armed attack on a Pakistani military checkpost in the Sheikhri area of Kalat, resulting in the deaths of three personnel and injuries to three others.

According to a statement issued by BLA spokesperson Azad Baloch, the attack occurred at around 9:00 p.m. on June 7. BLA fighters reportedly targeted the checkpost with rockets, automatic weapons, and other heavy arms.

The spokesperson stated that the exchange of fire lasted for an extended period, after which Pakistani forces deployed reinforcements to retrieve the casualties from the area.

Azad Baloch added that the BLA remains committed to continuing its campaign until the formation of an independent Balochistan.
