Tremors Felt in Gwadar, Ormara, and Malir

Karachi/Gwadar: Mild earthquake tremors were felt on Sunday in the coastal cities of Gwadar and Ormara in Balochistan, as well as in the Malir area of Karachi.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the tremor recorded in Malir had a magnitude of 3.5 on the Richter scale and occurred at a depth of 9 kilometers. Residents in various parts of Malir reported feeling the tremors.

In Ormara, tremors were recorded at 5:14 p.m. with a magnitude of 3.1 and a depth of 10 kilometers. The epicenter was located 118 kilometers southeast of Ormara, as per the Seismological Center.

Similarly, light tremors were felt in Gwadar, with the epicenter located 8 kilometers northwest of the city. According to the Makuran administration, no casualties or property damage were reported in any of the affected areas.
