Kech: Attacks on Pakistani Forces’ Checkposts in Gomazi and Zamuran, Heavy Gunfire and Explosions Reported

Kech, Balochistan: Armed assailants targeted multiple Pakistani military checkposts in the Gomazi area of Tump and the Kutan area of Zamuran, both located in Kech.

According to local sources, shortly after sunset in Gomazi, militants launched a coordinated attack on a checkpost situated at the residence of Shaheed Captain Jahangir. The assailants used rocket launchers and other heavy weapons, triggering intense gunfire and loud explosions that echoed throughout the area.

Following the assault, the attackers reportedly patrolled the vicinity before retreating.

In a separate incident, at around 7:00 a.m. today, another group of armed men attacked a Pakistani military checkpost in the Kutan area of Zamuran.

The attacks are said to have caused both human and material losses to the forces. However, no group has claimed responsibility for either attack so far.
