Turbat: Armed Attack on Pakistani Forces’ Checkpost, Surveillance Cameras Destroyed

Turbat, Kech: Unknown armed assailants launched an attack on a Pakistani forces’ checkpost in Turbat, the main city of Balochistan’s Kech.

According to sources, the attack took place in the Hiraabad area, where the assailants targeted the checkpost from two directions using rocket launchers and other heavy weaponry. Intense gunfire and loud explosions were heard across the area during the assault.

Further reports reveal that the attackers also destroyed surveillance cameras installed at the post, significantly damaging the monitoring system.

The attack resulted in both human and material losses for the forces. However, no group has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
