Dera Murad Jamali / Sui : Gas pipelines were targeted in two separate explosions on Saturday in the Balochistan towns of Dera Murad Jamali and Sui. According to police sources, explosive materials were used in both incidents.
In the first incident, unknown individuals detonated a gas pipeline in the Naseerabad area of Dera Murad Jamali. Police reported that gas supply through the pipeline had already been halted at the time of the explosion, resulting in only minor damage.
The second explosion occurred in Sui, near the Mazari Kot area on Kashmore Road, where another gas pipeline was destroyed. Police and personnel from sensitive security agencies quickly reached the scene. According to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), preliminary investigations indicate that the explosion was caused by planted explosives.
As of now, no group has claimed responsibility for either of the attacks.
