Gwadar: Armed Attack Targets Pakistani Forces, Reports of Casualties

Gwadar, Balochistan – Armed assailants targeted personnel of Pakistan’s Coast Guard in an attack that took place in the coastal city of Gwadar, resulting in reported casualties and financial losses.

According to local sources, the attack occurred around 2 PM today in the Sunt Sor area of Dasht, where gunmen lying in ambush opened heavy fire on Coast Guard personnel using automatic weapons. The intensity of the assault led to both human and material losses for the forces.

Earlier this morning, a separate attack was reported in the border area between Washuk and Panjgur, where a vehicle belonging to Pakistani forces came under fire. At least two personnel were confirmed killed, and several others were injured in that incident, according to official statements.

As of now, no group has claimed responsibility for either of the attacks.
