
Kharan, Balochistan – The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a targeted attack on two vehicles belonging to Pakistani intelligence agencies in the high-security Red Zone of Kharan city, resulting in the deaths of two personnel and injuries to three others.
In a statement issued by BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, it was reported that on the night of May 28 at around 9 PM, BLF fighters carried out a well-planned ambush based on intelligence provided by the organization’s own intelligence wing. The attack targeted two vehicular mobile units of field intelligence teams that were on patrol duty.
According to the initial Battle Damage Assessment (BDA), two enemy personnel were killed on the spot, three were seriously wounded, one vehicle was completely destroyed, and the second vehicle sustained partial damage.
Following the attack, Pakistani forces launched a cordon and search operation, sealing entry and exit points of Kharan and subjecting civilians to strict surveillance and body searches.
The spokesperson further stated that BLF fighters successfully withdrew from the area using combat withdrawal tactics and safely returned to their secure bases in an organized manner.
In conclusion, the Baloch Liberation Front claimed responsibility for the operation and issued a warning to the civilian population, advising them to stay away from occupying forces during attacks or clashes in order to avoid potential harm from indiscriminate retaliatory actions by state forces.
