Dr. Naseem Baloch, Chairman of the Baloch National Movement (BNM), has strongly condemned a recent Pakistani drone strike in Waziristan that reportedly killed three innocent children. He described the incident as part of a broader campaign of systematic violence against the Baloch and Pashtun nations.
In a statement published on X (formerly Twitter), Dr. Baloch stated,
“Three innocent children were killed in a Pakistani drone strike in Waziristan. It is part of the systematic and ongoing genocide against the Baloch and Pashtun nations, carried out through bombings, enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, and arbitrary detentions.”
He added that from the mountains of Balochistan to the valleys of Waziristan, civilians are being treated as less than human.
“Schools are bombed, activists are jailed, children are killed. These attacks are state terrorism, designed to crush resistance, silence voices, and erase identities.”
Dr. Baloch expressed solidarity with the Pashtun people and urged the international community to break its silence on what he called atrocities committed by the Pakistani state.
