BLF Claims Responsibility for Attacks on Pakistani Military Camp in Balgatar, Seizure of Levies Post and CPEC Road Blockade in Kharan

Kech/Kharan – The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a series of operations carried out on May 18 and 19, 2025, targeting Pakistani military forces and infrastructure in Balgatar and Kharan districts of Balochistan.

According to a statement released by BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, on the evening of May 18 at around 6 PM, BLF fighters launched a coordinated attack on the Chamage military camp located in the Seyedabad area of Balgatar using heavy weapons and rocket launchers. The fighters precisely targeted a key security post of the camp, resulting in the killing of two Pakistani soldiers and injuring another.

The spokesperson added that shortly after the attack, Pakistani forces raided the Gadgi settlement, conducted house-to-house searches, and blocked surrounding roads. Despite the aggressive response, BLF fighters safely retreated to their secure locations. A video of the attack will soon be released by BLF’s media wing, Ashob, he said.

In a separate operation on May 19 between 1 PM and 2 PM, BLF fighters blocked the CPEC link road in Kharan, while another unit seized control of a Levies checkpoint in the Butt area of Kharan. During the raid, BLF fighters took possession of government-issued weapons and equipment, but released the Levies personnel without harm, demonstrating a clear distinction between local forces and occupying powers.

Major Gwahram Baloch concluded by reaffirming that the BLF takes full responsibility for the Balgatar and Kharan attacks, and vowed to intensify operations against Pakistani military camps across occupied Balochistan.
