Panjgur: Two Death Squad Members Killed in Armed Attack

In the Panjgur district of Balochistan, armed men launched an attack on a hideout used by members of a government-backed militia known locally as the “Death Squad,” killing two individuals.

According to local sources, the deceased have been identified as Mullah Amir and Amanullah, both residents of the Chitkan area of Panjgur. A large number of armed men reportedly stormed their hideout last night, resulting in the deaths of both individuals. The attackers also seized their weapons before fleeing the scene.

Witnesses said the assailants set fire to a vehicle parked at the location.

Local sources further claim that the two men were affiliated with a state-sponsored armed group, commonly referred to as the “Death Squad,” and were allegedly involved in the killings and enforced disappearances of several Baloch youth.

So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
