Barkhan: Three Forcibly Disappeared After Being Summoned to Pakistani Military Camp

In the Barkhan district of Balochistan, Pakistani forces have reportedly forcibly disappeared three individuals after summoning them to a military camp.

The victims, belonging to the Khetran tribe, were ordered to appear at the military camp by a Pakistani army subedar. Upon arrival, they were detained and transferred to an undisclosed location.

According to local sources, Ahmed Jan Baloch, son of Jamaluddin, was taken on April 15, while Aslam, son of Lal Muhammad, and Sohbat Khan, son of Muhammad Jan, were disappeared on April 26 following their appearances at the camp.

Sources revealed that prior to these incidents, Pakistani forces raided the home of Ahmed Jan in Basti Gozo Sardarani and detained his father Jamaluddin, who was later released after Ahmed Jan appeared before the military on April 13 and 15. However, Ahmed Jan himself has been missing since April 15.

Additionally, on April 24, forces abducted Sohbat Khan’s father, Muhammad Jan, and Aslam’s uncle, Mir Khan, from their homes in Basti Gozo Sardarani. Both were released after Sohbat and Aslam appeared at the military camp on April 26, but the two young men were subsequently detained and moved to an unknown location.
