Tump: Death Squad Member Killed in Armed Attack

A member of a state-backed death squad was killed in an armed attack by unidentified assailants in the Tump area of Kech district, Balochistan.

According to details, the incident occurred last night in the Malekabad area of Tump, where armed men entered a house and opened fire, killing Zubair, son of Tehsildar Abid, who is the brother of death squad commander Saeed Abid.

Sources report that the attackers also took Zubair’s motorcycle and other belongings before fleeing the scene.

The deceased was reportedly affiliated with a pro-government armed group known as the death squad. However, no organization has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
