Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) leader Dr. Sabiha Baloch stated that through this message, they do not intend to hurt anyone’s feelings, but it is essential for the world to know how their comrades are being treated.
She said Pakistan has attempted to deceive the world by imprisoning their comrades under the “3 MPO” (Maintenance of Public Order). The reality is that this is merely a legal facade; in truth, it is not a political prison but a brutal tactic where their political workers are being treated in a way that shouldn’t even be done to criminals.
She shared that a comrade who recently met with Beebow Baloch reported visible signs of torture on Beebow’s body. According to the witness, Beebow was dragged by her hair from the jail to the vehicle. When her hair tore off, the police grabbed more and kept dragging her, to the extent that her clothes were torn. Later, during the journey from Quetta to Pishin, she was continuously subjected to physical abuse inside the vehicle.
She further revealed that in the room where Beebow is kept in Pishin Jail, microphones and cameras are installed everywhere, even in the bathroom. Because of this inhumane surveillance, Beebow is unable to use the washroom. Her health is deteriorating due to the hunger strike, and she is not allowed access to newspapers or books.
Dr. Sabiha Baloch asked the world to imagine, if this is the treatment given to a political activist, then what might be happening to the nameless Baloch prisoners, those whom no one can visit, those whose cries are heard by no one?
She added that if the state has truly decided to eliminate them, they consider this a part of Baloch genocide, and it falls under the category of global terrorism, which is completely unacceptable. “We are not ready to die silently, we will resist, generation after generation, breaking through all chains of time.”
In conclusion, she appealed to all comrades to be prepared, stating that it no longer matters whether they are thrown into jails or into graves, they are determined to defeat state fascism under any circumstances.
