
Political, social and religious parties have strongly condemned the violation of the sanctity of Maulana Abdul Haq Baloch’s home and the arrest of children, demanding their immediate release.
Jamaat-e-Islami, National Party, Balochistan National Party, Markazi Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith, and other organizations have issued statements strongly condemning the incident.
Jamaat-e-Islami’s central leader and former Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, while condemning the enforced disappearance of Sibghatullah Shahji.
He said that, “I have personally known Sibghatullah Shahji for many years. He is an intelligent, peaceful and visionary activist who firmly believes in non-violent struggle. I strongly condemn his abduction and enforced disappearance. When will Pakistan’s rulers come to their senses?”
Following the abduction of Dr. Mahrang Baloch and Sammi Deen Baloch, senior Baloch Yakjehti Committee leader Sibghatullah Shahji has now also been arrested and moved to an unknown location. Is enforced disappearance the only solution the state has for every issue? Sibghatullah Shahji must be released immediately, and all forcibly disappeared persons must be recovered.
Meanwhile, paramedical staff has demanded the immediate release of Dr. Sanaullah Baloch, warning that if he is not released, they will boycott OPD services.
