BLA Claims Rocket Attack on Intelligence Office in Kharan

BLA AZAD reform command

KHARAN BALOCHISTAN: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a separatist armed group, claimed responsibility on Saturday for a rocket attack on an office of Pakistan’s intelligence agency, the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), in the Red Zone of Kharan city in Balochistan. The group also alleged that a child was seriously wounded when Pakistani forces opened fire afterward.

In a press release, the group said its fighters fired rockets at the ISI office on October 30. It said security forces then fired on the public and hit a passerby on a motorcycle who was travelling with a young child. According to the group, the child suffered a severe gunshot wound to the head.

The statement was issued in the name of the BLA’s “Reform Command Council.”
