Quetta: According to reports, Shahji Sibghatullah Baloch, a central leader of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), has been forcibly taken into custody by Pakistani forces from his residence and has been disappeared.
It is worth noting that prior to this, several key leaders of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee, including Dr. Mahrang Baloch, Lala Wahab, Sami Deen, Beebo Baloch, and many other activists, have also been arrested. Protests are ongoing across Balochistan against these detentions, with widespread anger against the oppression by Pakistani forces.
The Baloch people and human rights activists are strongly condemning these enforced disappearances and demanding the immediate release of the detained individuals.
