SORAB, BALOCHISTAN: Several Pakistani security personnel were reportedly killed in an armed attack at Tobo Cross in the Gidar area of Sorab, Balochistan, according to local sources. A security forces vehicle was also destroyed in the attack.
Local sources said the bodies of the slain personnel remained at the scene following the attack. When a security forces team was dispatched to recover the bodies, it reportedly came under a second armed attack at Rodeni Cross.
Sources said the second attack also resulted in further casualties among security personnel, though the exact death toll could not be immediately confirmed.
Pakistani authorities have not issued an official statement regarding the incident, and no group has claimed responsibility for the attacks so far.
