QUETTA, BALOCHSITAN: Reports have emerged of evening attacks targeting Pakistani forces and their supply lines in Kharan and Panjgur.

According to local sources, armed men attacked a Pakistan Army convoy near Kharan city in the evening. Sources say at least three military vehicles came under direct gunfire during the attack.

Initial reports indicate that approximately ten security personnel were killed or wounded in the attack.

Separately, in the Paroom area of Panjgur district, armed men set fire to a vehicle carrying rations for Pakistani forces.

Sources say a second vehicle was also seized by the armed men during the incident.

In another incident in the Chidgi area of Panjgur, at a location called Mashkhel Kor, local sources say armed men destroyed surveillance cameras installed by Pakistani forces.

Balochistan has continued to see reports of attacks on forces, government installations, surveillance systems and supply vehicles in recent months, with armed activity reported across several districts, including Kharan and Panjgur.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for these latest incidents. Similar attacks in the past have typically been claimed by Baloch separatist armed groups.
