QUETTA: A significant military operation is currently underway in the Zarghoon Mountains near Quetta, with Pakistani forces intensifying their efforts in the area.
Local sources report that drone strikes targeted parts of the mountainous region late last night. The operation escalated early this morning as military helicopters were seen conducting continuous shelling across different sections of the Zarghoon range.
Residents in nearby areas described hearing a series of explosions throughout the night, followed by heavy gunfire and shelling that has continued into the morning.
As of now, there is no official word on casualties or the outcome of the ongoing operation.
