Khuzdar: DSP Anwar Muhammad Hassni, a resident of Sindh Baram, who was taken into custody last month by the Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) during snap checking in the Karkh area of Khuzdar, has been released.
According to source, he was safely freed along with his three gunmen. Sources further state that after his release, he has been shifted to a secure location where he is undergoing medical examination.
It is worth noting that he was detained during a BLF operation in the area, where the group had reportedly established snap checkpoints.
In a claim, the BLF stated that during the same operation, two personnel associated with Pakistani intelligence agencies were killed. According to the group, their fighters attempted to stop the individuals during snap checking, but they tried to flee and were shot after failing to comply.
The safe return of DSP Anwar Muhammad Hasni has brought relief to his family and concerned circles.
