BLF Claims Responsibility for Attacks on Pakistani Forces and ‘Death Squad’ in Awaran, Jhao and Parom; Pays Tribute to Fallen Fighter Sajid Baloch

Quetta: Spokesperson of the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), Major Gwhram Baloch, said in a statement issued to the media that BLF fighters carried out attacks on Pakistani forces in Awaran, Jhao and on members of the so-called state-backed “death squad” in Parom, Panjgur. As a result of these attacks, two military personnel and two death squad members were killed, while several others were injured.

The spokesperson said that on December 6, BLF fighters were on an organizational patrol in the Parom area when death squad operatives attempted to pursue them. The fighters promptly took their positions and ambushed the operatives, completely destroying one of their vehicles. Two death squad members riding in the vehicle were killed on the spot, while several others were injured.

He said that following the attack, other death squad members fled the scene, abandoning their vehicles. Later, a contingent of the Pakistani military reached the site and took away the bodies of the killed operatives along with the damaged vehicle.

The spokesperson further said that in another operation on December 7, BLF fighters targeted a Frontier Corps (FC) soldier standing at a check post in the Teertej Jak mountain area of Awaran through a sniper attack, killing the soldier on the spot. After the attack, the Pakistani military attempted to target the fighters using a quadcopter drone, but the fighters shot it down.

He added that on the evening of December 7 at around 5 p.m., BLF fighters carried out another sniper attack on a soldier standing at a military check post in the Doliji area of Jhao, killing him on the spot. After the attack, the forces reportedly fired multiple mortar shells in a state of panic.

The spokesperson said that the Balochistan Liberation Front pays tribute to its fallen fighter, martyr Sajid alias Kaka Rehmat, son of Abdullah, a resident of Gomazi, who was martyred in the struggle for national liberation.

According to the statement, Sajid Baloch was on an organizational front on December 1, 2025, when he fell seriously ill after being bitten by poisonous insects and later succumbed to his injuries. The organization saluted his valuable services.

The spokesperson said that Sajid Baloch joined the national liberation struggle in 2013 and became a member of the BLF. He remained active on the urban front for one year and shifted to the mountainous front in 2014.

It was stated that the martyr carried out organizational duties with dedication, perseverance and exemplary conduct, and played a key role on several important fronts. He participated in multiple successful engagements alongside his comrades in different battle zones. Sajid Baloch took part in organizational activities in several areas, including Tump, Mand, Turbat, Gwadar, Zamran and Dasht. Due to his skills and combat abilities, he was popularly known among his circles as “Tik Teer” (sharp shooter).

In conclusion, the BLF claimed responsibility for the killings of Pakistani military personnel and death squad members in Awaran, Jhao and Parom, Panjgiur while reiterating its resolve to continue its struggle until the mission of its martyrs is fulfilled.
